Katie + Ryan

Katie and Ryan were married Saturday, June 9, at Graystone Presbyterian Church in South Knoxville with a reception at the Southern Railway Station in the Old City.  Katie and Ryan are from Johnson City, TN.  They grew up going to school together but didn't start dating until college.  It was a trip to study abroad in London that made them really take notice in one another.  I loved sitting and listening to the stories about their dating life and hearing all of their friends talk about what an incredible match the two of them are!  

Katie attended a wedding I shot several years ago and on their engagement shoot she was telling Ryan (and me) that there was a picture of her in the bouquet toss... and he was like "OH YOU CAUGHT THE BOUQUET?" and she said "no... but my hands were up in the air".  HAHA!  

I was so honored that they chose me to capture their day.  It was a special day for sure!  Such tender friend and family moments... THANK YOU GUYS FOR HAVING ME!!!
