GABBIE + KEP

Gabbie and Kep got married this past Friday at Dara's Gardens in Alcoa.   I met Gabbie through my best friend, Charlotte, years ago.  She was in Charlotte's small group for a few years and my impression of Gabbie was that she was a tender, kind hearted, adventure seeker... When Charlotte told me that Gabbie had started dating Kep and was quite smitten with him, I wanted to know all about it!  I am a sucker for a love story!  

I asked Charlotte about the rehearsal dinner and what people said to describe Gab and Kep and she said "loyal, consistant, adventurous, good listeners".  I could tell on the day of the wedding how much they were adored and loved.  Her bridesmaids cried when they saw her.  Charlotte texted me before I got there and said "Wait til you see Gabbie, she's STUNNING".  I remember Charlotte sharing with me that Gabbie had plans for her future that involved travel, adventure, art... but they didn't include marriage.  She was one of Charlotte's girls that said "nope.. not til I'm in my 30's... maybe late 20's"  WELL GUESS WHAT?  Gabbie NOW has an adventure partner.  Kep and Gabbie are moving to Seattle for Gabbie to be a part of internship and teach art.  She's 22 and married and has a partner for all of her adventures!!  I love that she is still living her dream but with Kep by her side.  

I was BEYOND HONORED when Gabbie emailed me and asked me to capture her special day!  I loved my time shooting their engagement pictures in the Art Department at UT.  Gabbie is incredibly talented and her passion for art shows in her work.  Gabbie's best friend and maid of honor, Allie, was my intern a few years ago and has since started an incredible photography business with her husband, Taylor (happy one year anniversary soon y'all!).  

All these connections made this day WAY FUN!!!  I seriously danced my heart out at the reception!  Thanks Allie for grabbing my camera and giving me a couple songs to just HAVE A BLAST and celebrate the marriage of GABBIE AND KEP!  WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY!!!  

KEP AND GABBIE - have a blast in the Dominican and WATCH OUT SEATTLE, WA - HERE COME THE BARNHARTS!!!!!!
